10:53 am - So,,,
|
So, after graduating from Huntingdon I worked in the restaurant biz for a while and planned to go to graduate school to get my Masters in Music. After about a year long lapse after graduating, I decided that I would rather take my life in a different direction and go to Nursing School. I don't quite remember the moment I decided that, or why, I just did. So, I went to AUM for about a year getting the necessary pre-requisites out of the way, and I applied for nursing school at AUM. At the same time I heard about a special program at the University of South Alabama in Mobile in which I could get my nursing degree in a year due to having a previous bachelor's degree. If I went to AUM for school, I would not have been done for 2 or 3 years. So, I got into USA, and Michael had planned to come down with me to live in Mobile. However, at the same time he got a mega promotion at work. After much discussion, we decided that the program was too great of an opportunity to pass up, so I went by myself while Michael stayed in Montgomery so that we could pay the bills. The year flew by, and we got used to seeing each other only on the weekends. All in all, it wasn't so bad. I graduated in July, and got a job almost immediately in Montgomery. It seems that Montgomery is one of the only places in the state that is still hiring new nurses. A lot of people I graduated with are having trouble finding jobs. I've been working for a few weeks at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, and I like it so far. I will be starting to work the night shift in a couple of weeks, but I don't think it will be so bad. It's great to be getting a paycheck again! Also, my step-mom had a baby boy in December, so that's pretty big news too. He's so cute and probably the happiest baby that I've ever known! That's about it for me now.

You have a good deal of donkey running through your blood, and you're proud to be liberal.
You don't fit every Democrat stereotype, but you definitely belong in the Democrat party.

My Personality
| | Neuroticism | | Extraversion | | Openness To Experience | | Agreeableness | | Conscientiousness | |
You are neither a subdued loner nor a jovial chatterbox. You enjoy time with others but also time alone. You are generally calm and composed, reacting moderately well to situations that most people would describe as stressful. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. You have some concern with others' needs, and are generally pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You like to live for the moment and do what feels good now. Your work tends to be careless and disorganized.

| You Are 76% Open Minded | You are so open minded that your brain may have fallen out! Well, not really. But you may be confused on where you stand. You don't have a judgemental bone in your body, and you're very accepting. You enjoy the best of every life philosophy, even if you sometimes contradict yourself. |

Hey guys! I wanted to let everyone know that I am all set to have a little get together Friday night after Baccalaureate for whoever wants to come over. There will be some alcohol, but it would probably be wise to keep it on the light side, since us grads have to get up at ass o' clock in the morning. Just let me know if that sounds good to you guys.

1. Grab the nearest book. 2. Open it to page 161. 3. Find the fifth sentence. 4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions. 5. Don't search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
"We know only too well that the most terrible plagues have befallen lands and people because of fornication."
